Cherry
Active Cherry has been bringing pole and aerial magic to the world since 2007. From humble beginnings performing at some of the UK’s most famous $trip-Clubs, to care homes, international conventions, and everywhere in between, Cherry has danced, taught, and inspired along the way.
She became a pole instructor when the couple that ran her local pub asked her to teach a class in their function room — armed with her trusty 50mm home X-pole (in one piece, because it couldn’t be dismantled!) and a pair of stilettos, she boldly crossed a busy main road to bring pole dance to the masses. Since then, she’s navigated 9 different studio venues, guest-performed, judged, competed, and hosted shows all over the UK, always keeping her Authentic $tripper $tyle at the heart of everything she does.
Along the way, Cherry has trained many instructors, watched them bloom, and been blessed to teach workshops in studios far and wide. She’s also a Reiki and crystal healing practitioner and a maker of crystal healing jewellery, weaving wellness and energy work into her teaching and life.
Cherry is your biggest cheerleader, supporter of the underdogs, and a safe place for all. All are welcome at Active Cherry, and if you can’t make it in person, you can even learn online — so there’s no excuse not to get in touch.

Alicia Domenica
Alicia has been performing, instructing and shaping the next generation of artists since 2013. She is an Xpert Trainer, specialising in pole, aerial hoop and silks, with additional training in acrobatics, hand balance and contortion.
A highly respected performance coach and choreographer, Alicia has coached students who have gone on to win national titles across pole, hoop, silks and sensual dance. Her sharp technical eye and creative approach make her one of the most sought after coaches on the scene.
Alicia is also a regular judge at major competitions across the UK, known for balancing technical precision with a deep appreciation for artistry and expression.
Jade Read
Jade is the co-owner of Studio Flare in Astwood Bank. She has been in the industry for over a decade competing, performing and teaching across the globe, winning a number of national and international titles, including IPAAT Champion of Champions 2024.
She is a XPERT Fitness Elite Trainer where she dedicates her time to training the trainers.
She prides herself on having experience from all angles on the competition scene and has coached multiple clients under her specliaised coaching platform ‘The Competition Guru’, helping them to unlock their full potential and walk away with a number of awards and accomplishments, including 3x Best Choreography awards.
Jade is also the co-owner of Pole Theatre UK and the Elite Pole Championships.
